When the Utah Jazz fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves to finish their season on April 13, it formally marked the tip of a brief era that saw the franchise wear highlighter yellow uniforms.
The Jazz launched new white Affiliation, highlighter yellow Icon and black Assertion Version uniforms in June 2022 and shortly realized they’d made a mistake, conducting a poll among fans less than six months later a few potential redesign.
Because of this, the highlighter yellow Icon Version design was worn simply as soon as throughout the 2023-24 season after which was scrapped fully this season as Utah announced a two-year rollout of an entirely new set final summer season.
Utah continued to put on its white Affiliation and black Assertion uniforms in 2024-25, although the latter was replaced midway through the season by one other black design that prominently displayed the Jazz Observe brand with mountains within the background and purple and light-weight blue accents.
That left the white Affiliation uniform as the one remaining piece of the 2022 redesign, with the Jazz going 6-22 within the set throughout its closing season. In addition they went 1-7 within the new Assertion set, which is able to stay a part of Utah’s uniform rotation shifting ahead.
The Assertion uniform will now be joined by new white Affiliation and purple Icon Version designs that take their cues from the Jazz’s 2023-24 Metropolis Version set, together with modernized gradient mountains throughout the chest and on the suitable leg of the shorts, in addition to mild blue and black accents.
Moreover, Utah will replace its logos to mirror the brand new coloration scheme, which blends purple from its 1996-04 design with its light blue era from 2004-10. The Jazz can even have a brand new Metropolis Version uniform and courtroom designs, which will probably be unveiled forward of subsequent season.
