From filmmakers to artists, Hollywood misplaced a number of stars in 2025.
Information broke on January 4 that Aubrey Plaza’s estranged husband, Jeff Baena, died one day earlier on the age of 47. Per health worker information seen by Us Weekly, Baena died by suicide.
“That is an unimaginable tragedy,” Plaza’s rep said in a statement to Us on January 6 on behalf of the actress and her household. “We’re deeply grateful to everybody who has supplied help. Please respect our privateness throughout this time.” (It was revealed on March 19 that Plaza and Baena had been separated for four months on the time of his loss of life.)
Days after Baena’s loss of life, supervisor Simon Jones shared that RuPaul’s Drag Race star James Lee Williams — higher referred to as The Vivienne — died at age 32.
“James was an extremely cherished, warm-hearted and wonderful particular person,” the publicist shared in an Instagram assertion on January 5. “Their household are heartbroken on the lack of their son, brother and uncle.
