URGENT ACTION: Name to Free Hada, Southern Mongolian Dissident

We urge the Chinese language authorities to instantly launch Mr. Hada, a distinguished Southern Mongolian dissident and long-time political prisoner. He has disappeared since February 6, 2025 following his hospitalization by Chinese language authorities for an alleged “pressing medical situation.” His present whereabouts and well-being stay unknown. This newest improvement is a part of a 30-year lengthy persecution by the Chinese language authorities in response to his unwavering advocacy for the rights of the Southern Mongolian individuals.
30 Years of Imprisonment, Secret Detention and Disappearance
In 1995, Hada was arrested and later sentenced to fifteen years in jail on costs of “separatism and espionage.” Upon finishing his sentence in 2010, as an alternative of being freed, he was subjected to an extra 4 years of extrajudicial detention and has been beneath secret detention ever since in a spot tightly guarded by the Chinese language Public Safety authorities. His works, together with Means Out of Southern Mongolia and the underground journal Voice of Southern Mongolia, lay out his concepts on Southern Mongolian rights.
